Peterson's Ski & Cycle Blakeslee PA Bicycle and Ski Shop

56.64 miles

Just over 50 miles with lots of climbing. Bring your legs on this one. Watch out for Penn Dot's infamous 'tar and chip' fixes...

53.72 miles

Only 50 miles but with a huge grueling climb in the middle of the ride, it's one of the uglier rides. Once the big climb is behind you the ride back to the store is comparitively easy..

43.49 miles

This ride winds through the park and across the river. Not really any big climbs, just the normal for the poconos.

72.20 miles

A rather long ride... Typical pocono riding, lots of ups and downs.

57.84 miles

Ahh The infamous Tour De Pocono. This ride has the hills for the avid cyclist. If your legs are shaved you'll like this one. Our starting point on the map is from Bear Creek off of Route 903. Other good starting points would be from White Haven, Jim Thorpe, or Weatherly.

57.97 miles

This is a nice ride on the back roads. You do have 1 big climb in Bear Creek heading up 115, but afterwards it's pretty tame.

27.01 miles

This is that easier almost 30 mile ride. Total climbing is just over 1,000 feet.

35.53 miles

This is one of those rides that's easier one direction than the other. Starting on route 940 through the FE Walter Dam is the harder direction. The other way is the easier direction. Both ways have good climbs however, the harder way the climbs are more grueling.

Peterson's Mt. Bike Rides

6.43 miles

This is a beginner ride. Not much vertical and a little single track. Is a quick in and out by logging road.

4.67 miles

This is a good ride to take aspiring beginners to get a taste of Mt. Biking. The climb over the left shoulder is short & steep. The descent on the other side can be very rocky... When in doubt, WALK! The rest of the ride is easy with a big climb at the end. No Single Track on this one.

10.98 miles

This ride is a good intermediate single track ride. One can hit a few more trails and is good if you only have 2 hours to ride. Not a beginner ride unless they want to experience single track.

9.91 miles

Another Camel Back Variation, (there's a bunch). This ride hit's some of the same singletrack as the other rides but adds a few more twists and turns.

12.4 miles

This is a great ride... will drop you off of the mountain for single track adventure, then you need to climb back up to the top after an hour of single track riding. The ride back to the car is by logging road.

17.58 miles

This is the same as the 'Back of Camelback' but instead of heading back to the car by logging road, you will explore more singletrack on the way. You will need at least 3 hours to complete this bad boy... more if you have mechanical issues.

9.2 miles

One of my favorite rides.. Lots of twists, turns, climbs and descents. This ride skirts Lehigh Gorge State Park and the ride out at the end is up the Gorge Trail next to the Lehigh River. Have fun crossing the stream towards the end of the ride, you will most likely get wet.. Expert category riding although some strong intermediates will like it.

11.49 miles

This ride starts on logging roads and ends up on a long rocky single track. The end of the single track is in Dickson Miller Recreation Area for a short loop around the park. Back out the same rocky single track to the car.

12.61 miles

This ride is a lot of fun. No Singletrack, mostly logging roads. This ride does cross private property and Hunt Club land. Do not use during Hunting Season.. if you do get stopped, I don't know you.
